“WRONG CENTURY” 2021
the brief
ever feel like the 2020s were not meant for you? Pick the decade or era you belong in and tell us about the business you work at. Do you run the 1950’s milkshake counter or were you responsible for cleaning the guillotine in the 1700s?
insight
1960s was an interesting decade, especially for Hong Kong. During these times, Hong Kong was expanding at a rapid rate with their development and manufacturing which made historians described this decade as their stepping stone to their turning point of their economy.
ideawhile technology and economy was developing, some things just stay the same. Street food hawkers were the staple of feeding the population of Hong Kong and kept their food culture rich. We have decided to keep things candid by creating our own business selling roasted potatos and chestnuts wrapped in newspaper, fresh and piping hot for the cold winter.
